E-cigarette smoking is prohibited inside offices and closed spaces across the UAE. The use of e-cigarettes is subject to federal law on tobacco control. The Ministry of Health and Prevention highlighted the dangers of consuming tobacco products including e-cigarettes during World No Tobacco Day.
The UAE government in its federal law had forbidden and penalized tobacco use. That is the sale of tobacco products to anyone who is under 18, Smoking in private cars in the presence of children under the age of 12, Smoking in houses of worship, educational institutions, health and sports facilities, the use of the automatic vending equipment, and devices for tobacco distribution inside the country. The Ministry of Health and Prevention blocks advertising and promotes electronic tobacco products with the help of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority.
