An ideal candidate must be highly organized, handle pressure well, and understand the importance of deadlines.  They must also know how to relate to people in a variety of situations, be highly trustworthy, discreet, and use good judgment.

As a Paralegal your primary responsibilities will include, but not necessarily be limited to, the following:

  • Attendance at board and committee meetings and taking minutes
  • Managing the preparation and circulation of board packs and following up on actions from previous meetings
  • Dealing with regular day-to-day queries including AML/KYC information requests
  • Development and management of company secretarial processes and maintenance of corporate governance records
  • Legal administrative tasks
  • Arranging for notarization and apostilling of documents
  • Research on a range of legal issues

Skills And Experience

As a Paralegal your skills and qualifications will include:

  • Relevant degree – Legal/Business
  • The ideal candidate will have qualified as a solicitor or barrister and will have gained some experience in commercial or financial services

The duties of the debt recovery associate are to pursue payments of debts owed by individuals or business to an organization. The associate must take reasonable steps to secure payment from those who are legally bound to pay or repay the money they owe to an organization yet have been delinquent.

Qualities for this Role

  • Knowledge of established debt recovery procedures and advise clients of strategies for debt repayment and negotiate debt repayment schedules.
  • Identifying and implementing optimal debt recovery solutions by considering client needs, respond effectively to identify the root cause of delinquency and mitigate risk to the organization.
  • Operating under a referral process may negotiate payment arrangements for products and services at various stages of delinquency and refer past-due amounts to a specialized collections recovery division.
